From 23 to 25 June, the 66th German STI Congress took place in Berlin. Under the motto "Freedom, Desire, Responsibility", the German STI Society invited representatives from a wide range of stakeholders to exchange ideas. A wide range of questions on the topic of sexual health were discussed in various formats.
In cooperation with our international partner MSD, we informed about our work with a joint stand and had many interesting discussions. Furthermore, our CEO, Daniel Nagel, had the chance to participate in a panel on sexual health presented by MSD and to point out the importance of youth prevention. In addition, he shared important insights about our young target group and thus sensitised the participants to the special needs of young people.
In addition, our colleague Anna Konopka-Feiler contributed to the congress programme as a speaker and discussed the issue of youth-friendly health care as part of her workshop.
"I really enjoyed the exchange with practitioners and was able to take away a lot for our initiatives for young people," Anna Konopka-Feiler is pleased to say after the workshop.
"Ohhh! bundles numerous projects to strengthen the health literacy of young people. We can only do this together with strong partners at our side. I am convinced that with MSD we have found a partner who supports our efforts and helps us to reach more and more young people," said Daniel Nagel (CEO) on the sidelines of the event.
MSD and ohhh! cooperate in the field of HPV cancer prevention and sexual health education for young people. Together we are working to improve young people's access to sexual education, prevention and healthcare.
