We provide peer-to-peer sex education in German schools. In our unique Academies, we educate students to become peer educators and spread knowlegde amongst their cohort. Online, we provide teachers as well as students with learning resources like informational content, worksheets, support for teachers and more. We rely on an exchange on eye level, as it creates a trusting atmosphere with space for honest discussions. The sex education workshops are considered as an important supplement to the school curriculum.

Awareness Campaign (2021)

Condoms back on the agenda!

In recent years the conversation about condoms has vanished further and further. In sight of constantly improving treatment possibilities, the public awareness for condoms as an important and effective prevention method has decreased.

In order to bring condoms back on the agenda, they are a big topic in content and campaign work of FAQ YOU and Youth against AIDS in December and the new year.

FAQ YOU (🇩🇪🇦🇹🇨🇭) and the brand ambassadors  answer condom related questions and  host FAQ sessions on Instagram, TikTok and Jodel (a popular app amongst German uni students). There is a public awareness campaign with out of home Media, online ads and guerilla activations to bring condoms back into the public space and conversation.

The FAQ YOU campaign is supported by AXA, Gilead and MSD.

Youth against AIDS (🇿🇦🇳🇦) actively works with community organsiations on ground in South Africa and Namibia to reach out to young students around World AIDS Day and beyond. YAA hosts pillow talk sessions to start conversations around condoms and other sex related questions - online and offline. Out of home media is set up to get attention to condom usage and other prevention methods like Prep. The goal is to get young peope to inform themselves about available prevention methods and make responsible choices for their and others health.
The YAA campaign is supported by Gilead.

Jugend gegen AIDS

Jugend gegen AIDS  is how it all started. In 2009 students in Hamburg Germany collected donations for the Michael Stich Foundation. Over 20.000€ were collected on World AIDS Day by the “SchülerInnen zeigen Schleife” group. This was the igniting moment for a movement which was named “Jugend gegen AIDS” and later developed to become Jugend gegen AIDS & Youth against AIDS after the first international projects.
However, today we would rather be "for" something than “against it” and we do much more than just fighting AIDS. To give each existing or upcoming brand, project or organization the most fruitful ground, we have founded the Organisation for Human Health and Happiness.

Nowadays FAQ YOU is educating not only  about HIV/STI but so many more topics and all work of Jugend gegen AIDS is incorporated in our other projects.

VISIT

Youth against AIDS

Youth against AIDS provides condoms to youth in southern africa.

Our condom distribution program is set up to place condom vendors in TVET colleges and youth facilities in South Africa and Namibia. Supported by and in cooperation with the South African Department of Health as well as the First Lady of Namibia, this program helps young people in areas with infrastructural hurdles to access information and personal prevention against HIV/AIDS and STIs as well as unwanted pregnancy and thus empowers and gives self determination to the young population.

Our goal is to set up nationwide infrastructure with condom dispensers at all TVET colleges and other educational facilities to make free quality condoms available to every young person.
